Walking with Him

My devotional time with the Lord this morning was one of the best moment I had so far this month.

I saw myself walking with Him. By simply walking beside Him already stirred my emotion and awaken my spirit within.

I heard His gentle voice:

"Never will I leave you nor forsake you."

This statement from Him suddenly enlighten my soul.

I realized that He was actually with me for all this time. Even though I didn't always feel Him or see Him.

"I was with you for all this time. I am with you now. And I will always be with you."

My devotional time with the Lord this morning has set a new mark in my journey with Him.

I believe now I'm stepping into a new level of walking with my Lord Jesus. He has affirmed it to me.

My Lord is with me. His spirit is in me. And I am walking with Him now.

"My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." (Galatians 2:20)

Being open about my life is sometimes a messy thing for me. I'm still having hard times in telling ppl about my struggles esp whats inside my family. But I have learned that this is needed for my complete healing and restoration. I have tried to do it several times. And I just did again today. It was still messy for me. Ketekunan

"Sebab itu janganlah kamu MELEPASKAN kepercayaanmu, karena besar upah yang menantinya. Sebab kamu MEMERLUKAN ketekunan, supaya sesudah kamu MELAKUKAN kehendak Allah, kamu MEMPEROLEH apa yang dijanjikan itu." (Ibrani 10:35-36) Hri ini Tuhan ingatkan sy soal KETEKUNAN.  Ketekunan adalah karakter dari seseorg yg tdk mudah menyerah. Ketika kt sdh menetapkan tujuan, dan melakukan segala yg kt bisa utk mencapai tujuan itu, sometimes, di tengah jalan, ada saja rintangan atau halangan yg mungkin membuat kt ingin menyerah. Ayat firman Tuhan di atas mengingatkan sy 3 hal: Utk TIDAK MELEPASKAN kepercayaan sy. Krn ada upah yg besar yg menanti sy jika sy tetap berpegang teguh dlm keyakinan dan kepercayaan sy kpd Tuhan. Pleasing God

"Am I now  [ a ] trying to win the favor  and  approval of men, or of God? Or am I seeking to please someone? If I were still trying to be popular with men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ." - Galatians 1:10 (AMP) A bond-servant of Christ. I have heard these words been spoken into my heart several years ago. And now Holy Spirit reminded me again of these words.  " Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant." - Galatians 1:10 (NLT) I am Chris's servant therefore pleasing people is not my goal. It is obvious that I am here to win the approval of God, and not of people. (paraphrased by me) Then here comes the question. How to be pleasing and win the approval of God?
